Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect and store the absolute minimum needed to provide the service:

• TeraBox video URLs and IDs that you paste into the downloader — so the system can resolve and serve the video back to you
• Video metadata (title, thumbnail URL, file size) fetched from TeraBox when you paste a link — cached for performance
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics via Google Analytics (page views, browser type, approximate region) — no personal identifiers

That is it. We do not collect or store your name, email address, IP address in our database, phone number, home address, or any other personal identity data when you use the website.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We deliberately avoid collecting:

• Your name, email, phone number, or physical address
• Your IP address in any stored log (standard Cloudflare edge logs may temporarily process it, but we do not log or retain it)
• Browser fingerprints, canvas fingerprints, or any tracking beyond standard analytics cookies
• Any content you did not explicitly paste into the downloader
• Login credentials — we do not offer user accounts on the website

3. How Long We Keep Your Data

TeraBox video IDs and their metadata are stored for operational purposes (caching, deduplication, and analytics). Specifically:

• Video IDs resolved through the website are stored until explicitly cleared — this is necessary to serve cached results and log aggregate usage
• No personal data is tied to these records. A stored video ID has no connection to who requested it
• If you use the Telegram bot, we store your Telegram user ID and basic profile info (name, username) to enforce daily usage limits and provide premium service. This data is retained for the lifetime of your account and deleted on request

4. How We Use Your Information

The data we have is used exclusively to:

• Resolve TeraBox URLs and serve video playback/download pages
• Cache video metadata to improve performance
• Track aggregate usage volume (how many videos are being resolved, not who resolved them)
• Display relevant advertisements (Google AdSense)
• Deliver Telegram bot functionality (daily limits, premium access)

5. Third-Party Services

We use these third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdSense — serves contextual ads on the website
• Google Analytics — provides anonymized traffic insights
• Cloudflare — content delivery network and edge security (temporary IP processing at the network edge, not stored by us)
• Razorpay — payment processing for premium subscriptions (we never see or store your payment card details)
• Telegram — the bot platform itself; your Telegram user ID is provided to us by Telegram when you interact with the bot

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: Google Analytics and AdSense set their own cookies for analytics and ad personalization. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect ad personalization but will not break the core video playback functionality.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because we store no personal identity data from website visitors, there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete. However:

• If you have used the Telegram bot and want your Telegram user data deleted, email legal@terabox.beer with your Telegram username and we will remove all associated records within 14 days
• You have the right to withdraw consent to cookies at any time via browser settings
• You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

8. Data Security

We use Cloudflare for edge security and HTTPS for all connections. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database accessed only by the application runtime. No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party beyond the essential service providers listed above.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
